Life has a tendency at times, to squeeze every ounce of sexy, completely out of us! 

Stress, uncertainty, constant demands and tiredness are all great contributors.  

Not to mention the challenge of our aging bodies and changing hormones. 

It can be hugely challenging to find tiny snippets of pleasure and intimate

connection, let alone sexy it up! 

 

For many of us right now, sexy is a stretch beyond our reach. 

Yet to be able to connect with our sensual erotic self, is life’s greatest rejuvenator. 

Our erotic energy is our life force, our aliveness and vibrancy. 

Unfortunately, however most of us are given very little information and knowledge

in this space.

 

I was watching Strip down, Rise Up on Netflix recently.  It is all about the beautiful

and valuable contribution of the S-Factor a six-month program created by Sheila

Kelly.  It uses pole dancing and sensual movement to support women to reconnect

with their luscious selves.

I love it. It is embodied and sensual. 

It is challenging and powerful. 

Women flock to her work and gain so much. 

 

But it left me wondering….what happens if I don’t feel able to put on my pumps and

beautiful lingerie. 

If ever bone in my body is exhausted and drained. 

If sexy requires me to move my hips and embrace the fullness of body….then what

happens when I simply can’t. 

 

Over the past few weeks I have found myself in this place. 

Exhausted and overwhelmed. 

The last thing I felt is sexy…well at least that version.
