Did you know that I am yet to meet a person who has not felt nervous when stepping into a

session or workshop on sex and pleasure?

Yep, it’s true.

Not a single person.

Me included.

I still do.

And I have had years of practice!

Yes, believe it not I still get nervous before going to a new session, workshop or event.

I wonder who is going to be there.

What we are going to do.

If it will be too much.

Will I have a choice in participating.

What will others think of me.

As I am sure you can imagine….the list just keeps going on and on!

My mind goes crazy.

And if I allow, it will boss me around and I won’t end up going.

Knowing that my thoughts and feelings are the same as everyone else stepping into that

space – helps.

It is comforting to know that feeling nervous is part of the territory and I absolutely won’t

be the only one.

It is also useful to know that I have complete choice in everything I do, say and participate

in.   I can sit back and observe if that feels more useful.  I can even leave, if I want.

Nervousness is actually purposeful.

If we are to grow and change, we need to step outside of our comfort zone.

Not hugely.  Just a little.

Small progressive steps make all the difference.

When we consciously step beyond our familiar, our habits and what we already know – we

feel nervous.

We are gently nudging into newness.

Nervousness invites us to pay attention, notice and be present.

It reminds us to breath and slow down.

It reminds us to reach out, ask questions and ease those intrusive thoughts.

Nervousness is our ally and a great sign that we are on a journey towards something new.

Your nervous is always welcome in my sessions and workshops.

As too is your excitement, curiosity and all the other roller coaster of emotions that come

with this space.

Not only are they welcome but I will teach you how to work with them to super charge your

journey of sexual discovery and exploration.
