I have been pondering the notion of re-wilding over the past week while away camping with my family.
What it means to reclaim and embrace our wild nature.
How we would relate, live and be in the world if we remained true to our innate selves.
What we need to not just live, but to thrive in aliveness and vibrancy.
I live in the bush on the outskirts of Brisbane.
I am surrounded by nature and constantly reminded of the intricate balance of ecology that is required to sustain
optimum life.
There are walking tracks and lots of development carved through the bushland.
In the disturbance, weeds grow.
Small birds have lost their habit and predators thrive.
The wildness has been altered, tamed and changed.
I wonder, what it would take for humanity to reclaim what has been lost in our striving for erotic health and how we
navigate the pathways back to our wild orgasmic selves.
I believe this essence lives in all of us but has been shut down, turned off and diluted.
Shaped in a world that fears and needs to control and profit from the rich, powerful and life-giving force of erotic energy.
How we activate, care for and protect it, is paramount to its survival.
This is something I consciously and intentionally devote time and commitment to everyday.
It takes many forms and I am constantly discovering and learning in this space.
Depending on how I feel, the curiosities that are bubbling and privacy I have available, I use tools such as orgasmic yoga,
touch practices, rope play and breathwork to tune in, ramp up and connect with my erotic self. Some days it is simple
quiet 15 minutes laying in the sunshine. Other days is an a hour of solo play and exploration.
Everyday is an investment that resonates into everything I do, create and share.
For me, the cost of not investing is too great. For myself, my work and those I love.
How do you trust, honour and care for your wild, untamed self? How do you nourish and protect this is a world that does
the opposite? What do you need to reclaim in order to thrive?
